  • What’s the difference between logging in and signing up?

    You need to have an account in order to log in. First sign up with hortustv.com and start your new account. You will be asked to create a User Name and a Password—which you will need to provide whenever you log in to watch videos.

  • How do I manage my payment or personal information?

    Visit My Account. You can change your payment method, update or change your credit card or update your address information.

  • How do I log in?

    Go to hortustv.com and enter your User Name and Password. Click Log in.
    (Be sure to log out when you are finished watching.)

  • I forgot my password. How can I access HortusTV?

    Go to hortustv.com and reset your password. A new one will be sent to the email address we have on file for you.

  • How can I cancel my subscription?

    We’re sorry to see you go. But, if you must leave just have to visit My Account and cancel.

  • I cancelled my subscription. How do I restart it?

    Simply go through the prompts at hortustv.com and re-subscribe. Please note that you will not be eligible for the free trial if you are a former subscriber.

  • Once I’ve completed my free trial, when will my monthly billing start?

    After your free trial you may subscribe to HortusTV, by following the prompts. Your paid subscription will begin the day you subscribe and your credit card will be billed monthly for the life of your subscription.

  • Can I use PayPal?

    HortusTV is not yet accepting PayPal as an approved payment method for subscribers. You may subscribe using a valid credit card.

  • How can I stream videos?

    HortusTV can stream to your laptop, computer, tablet or mobile phone. The device must be able to do accept Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) or HTTP Live Streaming (HLS).

  • How do I watch videos on my television?

    You can connect your laptop or desktop computer to your television using an HDMI cable—available from retailers. That will allow you to watch videos through your computer on your television.

  • Why is my video buffering or skipping or stopping?

    The HortusTV stream is determined by your Internet connection speed. You should have a minimum Internet connection speed of 1.5MBps or higher to stream videos.

  • Why can’t I access HortusTV?

    Do you meet the minimum system requirements?
    The minimum system requirements are:
    Only devices able to accept Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) or HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) will be able to play the videos from HortusTV.com

    Is your billing up to date?
    Please contact us to submit a new payment method or retry the existing card.

    Are you in Canada or the United States?
    HortusTV is currently only available within Canada and the United States, to subscribers with a Canadian or US ISP.

    Is someone else logged on using your account?
    HortusTV only allows for one person—the subscriber—to watch at a time. If you suspect someone else is using your account without your permission, change your password immediately.
